    • Palliative Care: Find comfort and treatment in all stages of serious illness.
    • Hospice Home Care: Hospice can be provided in your home, whether in a nursing facility, an Assited Living Facility or in your own private residence.
    • Hospice House: A warm and welcoming facility for patients and 24/7 accessibility for family members.
    • Bereavement & Support Services: Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont offers monthly grief  support groups, educational series and course materials, support for families dealing with a difficult holiday season or milestone events.
    • School Grief Groups: In cooperation with local schools and guidence counselors, Care of the Piedmont staff provides support groups on-site to grieving children and  teens at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
    • Camp Celebrate Hope is for children ages 6-14 who have experienced the death of a family member or a significant person in their lives.
    • Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont introduced the We Honor Veterans program to our  service area in September 2012. This program was developed as a joint effort between the United States Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization to identify, recognize and serve military veterans.
    • Hospice and Palliative Care is a spectrum of services. At Care of the Piedmont, we’re positioned to provide physicians, nurses, chaplains, social workers, home health aids, and volunteer services for our patients wherever they are.

    • When you make a donation to our organization through the Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont Foundation, whether in honor of a loved one or as a supporter of our of our mission, your donation goes directly to providing medical care for patients, purchasing supplies, providing counseling and social services for loved ones and educational events and camps and school programs for grieving children.

    • Our organization boasts more than 220 local volunteers who fill a broad range of roles and  help make the efforts of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont possible.
    • One-hundred percent of proceeds from our Hospice Stores, located in Greenwood and Abbeville,South Carolina, fund Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont efforts.
    • Our Hospice Stores rely on the generous donations of high quality furniture, clothing, home items, decorations and more.
    • We rely on our Hospice Store volunteers to help receive donations, sort and price merchandise, assist customers, and organize displays on our sales floor.
